CMP tapped for 10/13ths of new national series

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Due to some scheduling conflicts, Tulsa’s Carol Mathews needed an online editor last week to finish a new national show for TBN. We were able to send Don for the first of several weeks to apply his expertise on Impact Productions‘ Mac-based Avid Symphony Nitris DX.

Working with Impact’s Eric Newman, Don is editing interviews for each show and conforming an FCP offline edit via Automatic Duck for 720P and SD finish.

Look for the show to launch in May or June of this year.

Restaurant sees RED

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

David and Micah went to Dallas today for a RED ONE shoot for Tony Roma’s, an international restaurant chain with locations on 5 continents. Steve Jones of Digital DK out of Norman booked us on the shoot. He has been quick to see the advantages of this powerful new camera, and the word on the street is that the client absolutely loved being able to see the overcranked to 120 fps playback on set (in HD, no less!) rather than waiting for the film to process and transfer.

Now then, where are those ribs you promised me, guys?
