David recently edited episode 32 of MacBreak
, a video podcast for the TWIT.TV network. Shot in San Francisco on (2) Sony F-950s and recorded straight to disk in uncompressed 4:4:4 HD, the episode features Google’s “Sketchup” software product. David received proxy versions of the footage from both cameras and a screen capture from the computer the talent was referencing and created a multi-cam Final Cut Pro project. As team leader for the Pixel Corps’
Video Editing team, David is on the cutting edge of media development and helped engineer this solution for remote editing.
Now that the episode’s been edited, it’ll be composited into the virtual set – so it may be a few more days before it’s released in the wild.
