Nathaniel, Don, David and John from the Pixel Corps got together at NAB 2006 for an informal meeting. Other PCX-ers were there, but didn’t make this photo-op!
To quote from the sales brochure:
“The 1969 Ryder Cup is best remembered for The Concession
. With the outcome of the U.S.A./U.K. match hanging in the balance, Jack Nicklaus conceded a two-foot putt to Tony Jacklin on the last green. It resulted in the first tie in the match’s history. The pair left the green with their arms around each other’s shoulders. This singular act of graciousness is roundly considered one of the grandest gestures of sportsmanship ever.”
The :30 spot is to drive sales for this real estate development in Florida (houses are between $1 mil and $2.5 mil) and will air in the Golf Channel’s presentation of “Jack Nicklaus – The Architect” on April 21.
The spot was produced by Winnercomm’s Kirk Martindale, who was also producing the Golf Channel special at the same time and was pleased to be doing ONLY two things at once!
